From Tuesday August 25th 2026:

course starts at 08:00 AM in the Zeppelin meeting room, 1st floor in the Service Building.

From Friday August 21st 2026:

all refresh courses start at 09:30 AM – meeting point at the reception in the Service Building.

SUMMER/FALL

    • wear sturdy shoes, you will hike to the range in uneven terrain to get to the range

    • wear outdoor clothing appropriate for spending two hours outside in the high Arctic – in the weather you observe on the day

WINTER/ SPRING

    • wear snowmobile boots or proper winter boots

    • wear either a snowmobile suit or other appropriate insulated outer layer – it will be cold outside

    • wear/ bring: hat, gloves/ mittens/ and a neck gaiter

  • It is recommended to bring something hot to drink and hand warmers

We expect all participants to meet prepared and timely. If a participant meets later than 15 minutes past the starting time at 08:00 AM for the full course, they will have to sign up for another course – and pay for both the original course and the new course * 

Failing to meet at 09:30 AM at the reception for a refresh course – leads to elimination from the current course without refund. If the participant wishes to attend another refresh course, they must also pay for the course replacing the one they failed to meet timely for *

* the delay/ absence is valid and not liable for the cost of the lost course if the absence or delay is caused by medical reasons, Kings Bay will accept a doctor’s note explaining the delay or absense.
