The second annual March for Science was held in Ny-Ålesund on Saturday April 14th
About 15 people partook in the march to celebrate science and the role it plays on everyday lives. The focus on climate change is extra prevalent in the Arctic, something the citizens of Ny-Ålesund have all experienced first-hand.
Ny-Ålesund march of science was part of a global event where scientist from all over the world unite to put focus on science by marching together. For more information check out the March for science's homepage
Even though they were few, the march's participants made themselves heard!
And perhaps it was the northernmost march in the world?
