Refurbishment inside the museum cabin was completed in 2019. These days, the exterior work is being completed. An extra coat of paint and the “skirt” complete the cabin.
When you are in Ny-Ålesund, a visit to this cabin is recommended. You will find original packaging from the fifties, furnitures, toys, some clothing and shoes all from when families used to live in the cottage.
